Application Consultant
Position Description:
• Works on medium to large-sized (multi sites/locations) projects and usually involves multiple systems environments where design is moderately complex.
• Analyzes customers' business requirements and application objectives to develop an application design in products to meet customers' needs.
• Estimates time frames quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project, develops project plan incorporating all project variables.
• Identify appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance maintenance design and costs.
• Conducts periodic status checkpoints with customers and team to assess progress against plan.
• Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities.
• Serves as senior-level billable consultant, pre-sales support and post-sales technical support specialist when needed.
• Acts as a liaison between customers and company.
• May conduct training classes, both at QAD centers and customer sites.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science. Advanced degree is desirable. Minimum 6 to 9 years of Industry or Consulting experience.
• Mfg/Pro experience is required.
• Excellent communications, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work as team member.
• Proficient PC skills.

Position Description:
1. Performs maintenance and enhancement of Localization product - Chinese Accounting System, on QAD supported platforms, such as UNIX, Windows, and NT.
2. Performs analysis to define requirements for modifications including affected programs, expected behavior, related document changes, and test scenarios.
3. Prepares program documentation of product components.
4. Establishes technical proficiency in design, implementation, and unit testing.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in software engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
2. Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
3. Sound Financial Knowledge.
4. Good analytical and design skills. Thorough understand the development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.

> - Perform sales activities for QAD's large Accounts opportunities and to penetrate new large customers. (including sales calls at executive level, product demonstrations, general presentations, site surveys etc).
